Let's try something new -- a "haiku" contest.

$20.12 for the "best" haiku, spelling out why Sarah Palin is a jackass. Awarded at 5pm (eastern) Friday, August 14th.

For those who've repressed all memories of elementary school, a haiku is a simple, 3-line poem -- the first line with 5 syllables, the second with 7 syllables, and the third with 5 syllables.

Here's the rules:

  • You can do as many haikus as you want, just make each a separate comment.
  • "Best" will be determined by the highest number of "4" recommends from others.
  • You need a minimum of ten "4" ratings to qualify.
  • No "sockuppets," i.e., no making up fake accounts to get ratings -- only one per person (recruiting real friends is fine - imaginary friends is not)

Go for it, have fun, and... may the most creative person win! (and yes, we're obsessing a bit on Sarah Palin right now, but... this latest episode really pissed us off)
