Does anyone really care that the pompous, pious, governor of South Carolina is having an affair with some Argentine hottie? The details of this sordid affair are not really newsworthy items. What is important, is that politicians like Sanford and Senator Ensign belong to a party that constantly trumpets their fidelity to " traditional family values" and Christian "morality." These charlatans launch attacks at the left, accusing us of being godless, amoral, unethical enemies of the god-fearing, apple pie eating, church going, REAL Americans. They point fingers. They blame. They sit in judgment. They are pious in their certitude. And, they are doomed to fail. Phony political piety almost always leads to monumental hypocrisy.
